Tata Harrier Features Leaked- Check price, interior, sunroof & launch date
Tata Harrier, a 5 seater is set to launch early next year. As the launch period is near, Tata has revealed the side profile of the car, along with its platform and engine details.
Tata Harrier Interior:
It is inspired by Land Rover SUVs, based on Omega Platform. Considering the interior of this new model, it will include memory function for front seats, steering mounted controls and a large touchscreen infotainment system. Not just that, automatic climate control, electrically operated mirrors, front parking sensors, 6 airbags and a reverse parking camera will add to the safety.
The model present a bold outlook with the slim LED headlights. It is featured with massive wheel arches and big wheels, along with a crossover design. The crossover design on the front bumper and wraparound taillights are the added features to its exterior. Interestingly, in regard to engine specifications, it confirms a 2.0-litre Kryotec diesel engine with a power of 140hp.
Additionally, the model reveals a 6-speed manual gearbox and the same as the automatic gearbox. Some highlight features include LED tail-lamps, front and rear armrests, rear AC vents and overhead storage bins. Notably, Harrier will sport styling with large wheels which will provide a bold look.
It is expected that the model will have all-independent suspension and steering gear along with multiple drive mode option.
Tata Harrier Price:
Interestingly, Harrier would be the first SUV by Tata to have a Sunroof. It is expected to be priced from Rs. 13 – 16 lakhs, which will make it compete with Hyundai Creta, Mahindra XUV500 and the Jeep Compass. However, the size of the model is almost similar to that of Mahindra XUV500.
Although Tata Harrier is launching in January 2019, the market is already gossiping about this upcoming SUV. Whereas diesel is soon going to be banned, Tata is still introducing a new diesel engine for the Harrier.
Noteworthy, no updates are there for any petrol engine yet, however, we expect a petrol variant to be launched as well.
