Nokia 5.1 Plus unveiled with dual cameras and a 3,060 mAh battery

Nokia has finally brought in its new Android smartphones in India through the launch of Nokia 6.1 Plus along with Nokia 5.1 Plus, which is the global variant of the Nokia X5 launched in China last month. The Nokia 5.1 Plus comes with a notch and a dual rear camera setup, and to find out about its other features, just read on!

The Nokia 5.1 Plus features an all-glass body with a 5.86-inch HD+ (720×1520 pixels) notched display and a 19:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone also includes 2.5D curved glass on top and has 84% screen-to-body ratio. Notably, the notch in case of this smartphone is wider than Nokia 6.1 Plus and is more iPhone X-like.

The smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P60 SoC which makes it suitable for playing games and runs on Android 8.1 Oreo accompanied by 3,060 mAh battery. Next, the phone consists of a 3GB RAM along with 32GB internal storage which can be further expanded up to 400GB via microSD card. Besides, there is a fingerprint sensor mounted at the rear side of the phone.
The Nokia 5.1 Plus shares pretty much similarities with the Nokia 6.1 Plus, for instance, the similar camera, battery, and screen size. However, both the smartphones do differ in terms of RAM, Notch size, and processor.

Coming to the optical features, the smartphone consists of an 8-megapixel selfie camera with a f/2.2 aperture capable of Face Unlock. While the phone also has dual rear cameras comprising 13-megapixel primary sensor with a f/2.0 and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor capable of giving depth of field photos. The rear cameras come with PDAF and LED flash as well.
Finally, the smartphone supports connectivity with 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v4.2 and comes in colour options of Midnight Blue, Black, and White. However, the pricing of Nokia 5.1 Plus has not been revealed as yet although it is expectable to come at an affordable price just like Nokia 6.1 Plus.
